Frampton Still Rocks!!!

New York is a great place, especially in the summer. Lots of free concerts.
Well, in Brooklyn, Brighton Beach to be exact, they have been having free concerts for what is now 30 years. Last night was Mickey Thomas and Starship, not with members of the Jefferson Starship, but you knew the tunes, and it was cool. Now, a word or two about Peter Framton. The man still sounds excellent. He played for about 2 hours and did all the stuff you wanted to hear including some cover tunes. He did While My Guitar Gently Weeps, which was great of course, but he also did a cover of Soundgarden's Black Old Sun. Holy shit!!! That was PHENOMINAL!!!
Next Thursday I have tickets to see the last Police concert ever, with The B-52's as opening band, at Madison Square Garden. That shouldn't be too shabby. I will keep you posted.

Hey Smokey,

Dig your stuff man, really dig it.
I feel ya too, some choice writing.
You made a mistake with the name of the Sound Garden song. It should be Black Hole Sun. But that's cool daddy o. I guess you were still buzzing after blazing a fatty while in your BVD's and blogging.
Keep Up the Rock & Roll Spirit & Never get old.
