Who I saw last night in another FREE concert...actually $5...in Coney Island. It was Davey, Mickey and Peter, with a phenominal back up band. Toatally phenominal. Heard tunes I hadn't heard in years. Just amazing!!

More Free Music

Last night Patti Smith was at this cool place in Battery Park at the tip of lower Manhattan...for those who don't live here...called Castle Clinton which is a national landmark. A small place and with so many people we couldn't get seats, but it didn't matter. She was EXCELLENT. She did all the songs I wanted to hear and played for 2 hours. And you can't beat the price!!

Metsies

Well, followers of this here blog, I thought it was time to briefly talk about the Metsies. They are still may games behind in the standings and wild card chase, but they are playing much better. Too bad they couldn't have swept The Dodgers but I will take 3 out of 4 anytime. Lets see if they can take 2 out of 3 from the Giants before the All Star break. And hopefully,they can continue their consistent play.
